Tibyaan is a Quran memorisation app designed to help users learn and review surahs with understanding. We respect your privacy and have built the app with minimal data collection in mind.

Data We Collect

Tibyaan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not require account creation, login, or any personal information to use the app.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your learning progress, streak data, and settings are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed.

Audio Content

Quran recitation audio is streamed from the Quran.com public API when you use the playback feature. These requests are made directly from your device to Quran.com's servers. We do not proxy, log, or monitor these requests. Quran.com's own privacy policy governs their handling of any data from these requests.

Analytics and Tracking

Tibyaan does not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs that collect user data. We do not track your usage patterns, location, or device information.

Notifications

If you enable review reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to any external server.

Children's Privacy

Tibyaan does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app contains no accounts, no social features, and no data collection mechanisms.

Third-Party Services

The only external service the app communicates with is the Quran.com API for audio playback and Quran text data. No user data is shared with this or any other service.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely to be significant.
